John Gizdich III is an engineering student at the Austin Community College District, and he is planning to major in electrical engineering at a university starting in the 2015 fall semester. John is extremely dedicated to his work since he is concerned with energy, robotics with artificial intelligence, space exploration, nature-friendly technologies, and advancement of technologies in general. John became President for the Student Government Association of Austin Community College, because he realized that politics play an important role when working with new technologies. John founded Science, Technology, Engineering & Mathematics Academy (STEM Academy) at Austin Community College, because he wanted to have hands-on experiences with his academic discipline with other students since he believes that going to class alone is simply not enough.
